Targa Florio rally is the oldest car race in the world, among those still contested in 1973.
Created in 1906, this true institution for Sicilians, takes place on a tormented and winding circuit measuring 72 kilometers.
All on the open road. This means that pilots come across and overtake trucks, horses and herds of goats... And they pass through villages.
The cars have 1000 curves to negotiate on the course!
The race is very popular because it has attracted the most renowned drivers,
such as Jacky Ickx, Clay Regazzoni, and Nino Vaccarella.
